Another great thing to do in Toronto is to head up to the CN Tower for a stunning view over the city. You can do this either by taking the cable car up to the top or by visiting the observation deck for a more spectacular view.

For those with a passion for history, visit the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) which is home to a diverse range of relics including dinosaur bones and Chinese temple art! Located right on the university campus, it’s a great way to experience the best of Canada’s culture and natural history.

A popular event for tourists in the summer is the CNE, or the Canadian National Exhibition. This festival takes over the waterfront in mid to late August and is a two week carnival of craziness that you won’t want to miss!

If you’re looking for more of a relaxed atmosphere, head up to the Distillery District which is filled with charming 19th-century buildings. It’s an area with a rich history and it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a coffee or some food.

Graffiti Alley is a popular spot for street artists and those who like to snap photos. This long alley is decorated with a plethora of incredible murals that have been painted over the years by some of Toronto’s most talented artists. You’ll see people snapping photos of their favourite murals in the street and posing in the painted doorways day and night.

It’s worth noting that it can be a little busy on the weekends so plan ahead and make sure you arrive early to avoid any disappointment!

St. Lawrence Market is a wonderful place to shop for fresh produce and indulge in some of the finest food in Toronto. It’s a great place to have a leisurely lunch and has lots of quirky stalls for you to choose from.
